Start at the route, not the cabin door
When requesting an accessible portable toilet, describe the journey from parking or the activity area. Soft ground, a narrow gate or an awkward turn can matter outside the unit even when the equipment itself has accessible features. Ask for the proposed model details and review the surrounding layout with the responsible organiser.
Protect the usable space
Keep chairs, planters and queued visitors away from the agreed entrance area. Include washing that people can reach, and explain any surface changes expected during the rental. An equipment category alone does not confirm that the entire event or property meets applicable accessibility requirements.
Review the route once the layout is occupied
The surrounding approach can change when seating, materials or parked vehicles arrive. Have the responsible organiser review it again against the intended users and proposed equipment. Preserve usable entry and washing access throughout the activity, and discuss any obstruction before relocating facilities or modifying their installation.
