Delivery is one part of the site arrangement
A construction rental should specify the equipment, transport, cleaning, supplies and collection process. Explain how the service vehicle enters and who can approve placement. If the ordering company is not controlling the site, connect the rental contact with the person who does before confirming the visit.
Keep revisions attached to the order
Record changes to the crew, entrance and expected end date with the business. Ask which changes affect visits or charges, and retain the revised agreement. Do not let a revised project schedule remain only in a contractor’s notes while the equipment continues under an outdated arrangement.
Connect the purchaser and the receiving contact
Give the person receiving equipment the accepted location and provider contact, not just an order reference. If the purchaser cannot approve a placement change, identify who can. Keep subsequent instructions with the rental arrangement so a revised gate, crew or collection date is known to the people performing the visits.
- Contact authorised to approve placement
- Accepted instructions available on arrival
- Revisions communicated to the provider
